This course offers an intensive review of the principles of standard English grammar, sentence structure, and English usage and diction. We will cover the parts of speech, verb forms and tenses, fragments, run-ons, and other issues in standard grammar usage. By the end of the class, you should be able to identify errors and confusion in your writing and make corrections.

The course will have assignments with due dates and run like a regular class. At the completion of the course, the faculty should have a finished "project" that indicates they have mastered the skills necessary to teach an online course and can be evaluated and approved as an online instructor.
